The Short Version
Stampede PDF is designed to keep your data private. We don’t collect personal information. We don’t track you across apps. Your documents stay on your device.
What We Collect
Almost nothing. Stampede does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information through the app.
On-Device AI Proofreading
The default AI proofreading feature runs entirely on your iPad using Apple’s Foundation Models. No document text is sent to any server. No data leaves your device.
Optional Cloud AI
If you explicitly choose to use optional cloud AI models for a specific document, the text of that document is sent to the selected AI provider for processing. This is always your choice, per document, and is never automatic.
Analytics
Our website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We use Apple’s standard App Store analytics, which provides aggregate (non-personal) data about app usage.
What We Don’t Collect
- Your documents, annotations, or stamps
- Personal information or account details
- Location data
- Usage tracking across apps
- Advertising identifiers
Data Storage
All documents, annotations, stamps, and preferences are stored locally on your iPad. We have no access to this data.
Third Parties
Stampede does not share data with third parties for advertising or marketing. The only third-party data transmission occurs if you explicitly choose to use cloud AI processing for a document.
Children’s Privacy
Stampede does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
